Jenny Roach, Matron/Manager of Tupwood Gate, was a finalist in the Surrey Care Association’s Awards 2009. Jenny was nominated by residents, relatives, staff, and colleagues for the Manager of the Year Award.
The citation for the nomination read as follows, “One of the most striking things about Jenny is her professionalism combined with sensitivity. She treats staff in a fair and consistent manner and makes her expectations of high standards very clear. Jenny has a hands-on approach which enables her to get to know the residents well, and shows great compassion to them”.
